Flying, but no car
Getting to Champaign from Willard Airport (Champaign)
If you are flying to Champaign (Willard Airport) - there are several easy ways to get to your hotel.
-- If you are staying in Chancellor hotel - the hotel runs its own complimentary shuttle service. You can call the hotel in advance (217-352-7891) to arrange for a pickup. Alternatively the Hotel has a courtesy phone at the airport, and you can call after you arrive to Champaign. It takes the shuttle about 10 minutes to get to the airport.
-- If you are not staying in Chancellor hotel - there is a regular MTD bus (Airbus) which goes from the airport through Campus to downtown Champaign. The bus runs about once an hour. The schedule and the map are here.
-- Alternatively - there are always taxis around. As mentioned above - it is only ~10 minutes to Champaign and the fair for a taxi should not exceed $10.
Getting to Champaign from Chicago
If you are flying to Chicago (either O'Hare or Midway), but are not renting a car, you can use a shuttle service which will take you right to the downtown Champaign. There are two shuttle companies:

-- Bluebird Charter Coach (1-800-400-5500 )
Both shuttles leave Chicago every three hours; one-way price is about $30-40. Advanced reservations are generally required.
